Abstract
The effect of folic acid and liver extract upon blood cholinesterase activity and upon the course of regeneration of the blood cholinesterase was studied. Acetyl-choline and physostigmine administered parenterally to dogs do not lead to erythrocyte or Hb changes suggesting anemia. Folic acid and liver extract do not influence the activity of cholinesterase in vitro or in vivo, nor is the regeneration rate of plasma cholinesterase, which has been reduced by DFP, affected by them. Keywords
