Abstract
For Nb-doped SrTiO3, we have observed Raman spectra of soft ferroelectric A1 and B2 phonons in the (010)-stress induced ferroelectric C2v phase at 6.5K. Critical pressure of phase transition is found to increase with the concentration of the conduction electrons. This indicates the stabilization of the high-symmetry paraelectric phase by the screening effect of the conduction electrons. Keywords
