Abstract
For electron cyclotron resonance heating of plasmas in the stellarator W VII-AS, high-power microwave sources with high mode purity are needed. Therefore, the mode compositions of four commercial 200 kW/70 GHz gyrotrons, specified for this project, were analysed with a wave number spectrometer. The measurements confirm the specified spurious mode content of less than 10%.Keywords
