Abstract
The relation between the valency states of Mn and Fe ions and the resistivity of the iron-deficient Mg-Mn ferrite is established. High resistivities measured can bo understood even in the case that some Fe2+ ions are present under the assumption that stable pairs Mn4+-Fe2+ are formed preventing thus Fe2+ ions to take part in easy conductivity mechanism. Keywords
