Abstract
✓ A case of malignant astrocytoma in the frontoparietal parasagittal region with transgression into the overlying dura mater and the skull is presented. Spontaneous transdural extension of a glioma is an extremely rare growth pattern. A mode of transdural extension of this tumor is discussed and related reports are reviewed. Keywords
