Abstract
IT has been said that as biochemical acumen and dependence on the clinical laboratory increase, enthusiasm and proficiency in physical diagnosis decrease. In this paper we describe 2 cases of attempted abortion with cancer chemotherapeutic drugs in which the diagnosis was first suspected (and later confirmed) from the bedside study of a relatively neglected skin appendage — the hair shaft.Case ReportsCase 1.
