Abstract
The cross sections for charge transfer and for ionization in collisions between protons and hydrogen atoms have been determined over the energy range from 400 to 40 000 ev. The experiment used modulated crossed-beam techniques. Experimental results are compared with several theoretical predictions. Keywords
