Abstract
Measurements of the thermopower of dilute alloys of T1, Sn, Cd, Pb, Ga, and Mg in indium over the temperature range 4-120 K are reported. The results are interpreted in terms of phonon drag and the Nielsen-Taylor theory of diffusion thermopower. Qualitative agreement with the Nielsen-Taylor theory is found. Keywords
