Abstract
Primary tracheal cancer, a rare disease, in the general medical population, but not an uncommon disease for the laryngologist was studied. The use of a tobacco must play a significant part in the etiology of this disease and the cleansing action of the cilia aids to considerably lessen its incidence. Tracheal carcinoma should be suspected in the patient with a normal chest X -ray who presents with a history of dyspnea, cough, and hemoptysis which is reinforced by positive sputum cytology. This publication has 15 references indexed in Scilit:
