Abstract
It is found that to parametrize the invariant cross section in low-energy collisions, a better scaling variable can be used instead of the usual radial variable , where is the minimum of for a given and . The ratio of the invariant cross section to the corresponding radial-scaling limit is seen to be independent of explicitly, and is monotonically and quickly approaching to one from above for increasing .
