Abstract
Two case reports are presented concerning Cushing's syndrome that was associated with thyroid carcinoma of the uncommon medullary type, in one neoplasm in pure form, in the other mixed with follicular elements. Both carcinomas contained adrenocorticotropic activity, according to bioassay. An additional previously reported case of thyroid carcinoma associated with Cushing's syndrome proved also to be of the medullary type. Keywords
