Infrared Absorption in Small KCl Crystals

Abstract
The infrared absorption in thin film samples and small crystal samples of KCl is measured. The peak absorption in thin films is found to occur at 151.3 . Additional structure is observed in the absorption spectra of small crystal samples. This structure is found to be size- and shape-dependent.
