Abstract

The production angular distribution of the reaction

K^{-} p \to {Y_{1}}^{* +} (1660) π^{-}

around 2.6 GeV/c, measured by using the

{(Σ π)}^{+}

and

{(Σ π π)}^{+}

decay modes, is interpreted as evidence for two distinct

{Y_{1}}^{*} (1660)

resonances.
