Metabolism of limonene-1,2-epoxide in the rat

Abstract
Metabolism of limonene-1,2-epoxide was studied following i.p. injection in rats and in rat liver homogenates. Limonene-1,2-glycol was the only neutral metabolite detected. Major limonene metabolites, p-mentha-2,8-dien-1-.alpha. and .beta.-ol and p-mentha-1,8-dien-6-.alpha. and -.beta.-ol were not observed. Limonene-1,2-epoxide was not a major intermediate in limonene metabolism in the rat.This publication has 10 references indexed in Scilit:
