Two-Photon Exchange in Electron-Deuteron Scattering

Abstract
We show that multiple scattering of the electron (i.e., two-photon exchange) in electron-deuteron elastic scattering leads to a small component in the cross section, which decreases very slowly with momentum transfer and may dominate the cross section at high momentum transfer.Keywords
