Abstract
Increasingly potent immunosuppressive agents have dramatically reduced the incidence of rejection of transplanted organs while increasing susceptibility to opportunistic infections and cancer. This article reviews general concepts for the management of transplantation-associated infections and discusses recent advances and challenges.Keywords
