Abstract
Fifty-five species of weeds and seven of cultivated plants were collected from root rot areas in strawberry plantations and found to be infected with Pratylenchus penetrans (Cobb 1917) Filip. & Stek. 1941. Perennial plant species with soft-textured roots contained larger populations of P. penetrans and had more extensive root necrosis than those plant species with hard-textured roots. Keywords
