Abstract
Thin films of high-T c superconductor Bi2Sr2CaCu2O x were prepared on MgO(100) substrates by a liquid phase epitaxial method. Several kinds of fluxes were applied for preparation of Bi2Sr2CaCu2O x thin films, and KCl was found to be the best among them. The film consisted of two phases, Bi2Sr2CaCu2O x and Bi2Sr2CuO x . The onset T c in the superconducting transition was at 95 K in an as-grown state, but zero resistivity was not observed over 50 K.Keywords
