Abstract
A novel transpurination reaction of tetraacetylguanosine was successfully applied for the preparation of 9-(2-hydroxyethoxymethyl)-and 9-(1,3-dihydroxy-2-propoxymethyl)guanines (compounds 1 and 2, respectively). Yield of the desired 9-isomers was significantly increased by application of the thermal 7=9 transglycosylation. This publication has 17 references indexed in Scilit:
