Abstract
The effect of various geometrical parameters of square and rectangular grounding grids in the homogeneous soil on the mesh and step voltages is investigated, employing digital modelling. The results obtained have enabled the development of the approximative analytic formulas for irregularity correction factors of grids, involving more properly the influence of the main geometrical parameters of the grids than the corresponding formulas in the recent papers. The diagrams and formulas presented can be used for practical design purposes. Keywords
