Abstract
We review several of the most recently developed topics in the field of fluxon dynamics in Josephson junctions. The main emphasis is placed on new systems and experimental methods which are currently under investigation. The selected topics are (i) fluxons in stacked long Josephson junctions, (ii) dynamics of one-dimensional underdamped Josephson junction arrays and (iii) spatially resolved investigations of fluxon dynamics. Future prospects are also discussed. Keywords
