Abstract
The referral of blood samples from many sources to this laboratory has afforded an opportunity to search for antibodies, using multiple methods, with a deliberateness not often possible in a busy transfusion service. This report summarizes the finding of 668 antibodies in 518 serum specimens after the application of seven methods to the study of each serum. No single technic was outstanding in the detection of all antibodies. In addition, variability in reactivity of human antibodies of the same specificity was noted. Keywords
