Abstract
The main dif-ference between the 2 methods of s-RNA isolation discussed is in the presence of the 5s component in whole-cell preparations. This is entirely from the ribosomes, and is not retained by DEAE-cell-ulose as in normal ribosomal RNA. Isolation of s-RNA from supernatant preparations yields a homogeneous product of mixed t-RNA.This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
