Abstract
Analysis of survey data obtained from large samples of students at intervals two years apart indicates that reported alcohol and other drug use and problems are positively related to reported drug education, especially among the younger cohorts. Reasons for these results are proposed; definitive resolution of the issues awaits more detailed and controlled research. Keywords
