Abstract
A line of metastable equilibrium between two amorphous semiconductor phases was determined resistometrically in the diagram of the alloy in the temperature range from 17 to The amorphous nature of both phases was examined by x-ray diffraction at high pressures using a diamond-anvil cell and synchrotron radiation. The starting bulk amorphous sample was prepared by solid-state transformation of the quenched crystalline high-pressure phase during its heating at ambient pressure.
