Abstract
Incubation of bovine lenses over a period of 24 h in Krebs-Ringer solution effects a decrease in the content of GSH. This decrease can be blocked by addition of 2 mM/l, each, of glycine, glutamic acid, and cysteine. The content in GSSG is in no way influenced by incubation with or without addition of the three amino acids. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
