Abstract
As a contribution to the inclusive process where is a bound state of heavy quarks and , we consider the QCD process . The rate is found to dominate asymptotically over other, previously calculated, perturbative mechanisms. An apparently accidental partial cancellation in the case of the like-quark bound states () enhances the relative rate of flavor-nonsinglet vector mesons.
