Abstract
We have adduced strong evidence in favor of identifying the virus of Mexican typhus fever with the Rickettsiae, or Mooser bodies, observed in the tunica lesions of Mexican typhus guinea pigs. Were it not for the possible presence of a few remaining cell fragments in the washings we would consider this evidence crucial proof. Keywords
