Abstract
The experimental energy and azimuthal distributions of photoelectrons from the surface and bulk 4 core state of W(110) are analyzed with dynamical low-energy electron diffraction (LEED) calculation. It is shown that the intensity variation for photon energy below 90 eV and as a function of azimuthal angle is mainly due to final-state scattering effect. We have also investigated surface relaxation effects.
