Abstract
The stress distribution in a homogeneous plate is approximated in the normal direction by stress functions satisfying the yield condition. Using the conjugate energy theorem the plate stiffnesses are derived for incremental internal forces and moments. In the limit state the interaction surface represents combinations of internal forces and moments. Keywords
