Abstract
A simple integral has been evolved for calculation of the angular distribution and photon yield from bremsstrahlung targets. Only basic scattering powers and radiation and collision stopping powers of the target material at the incident electron energy are needed as input data dependent on material. The integral has been evaluated for different target materials such as gold, tantalum, aluminium, carbon and beryllium of varying thicknesses in the range 0.001-1.0r0 at electron energies up to 50 MeV. Good agreement is found with published experimental and theoretical data. Keywords
