Abstract
To the Editor: We present the following brief case history to call attention to a possible serious adverse drug reaction and to seek clarification of a statement made by David Parkes in the October 18 issue of the Journal.1 What made this case of particular interest to us was that the patient was the first author, and the physician the second author.The patient was a 33-year-old internist who took, for the first time, a 2.5-mg oral dose of bromocriptine.
