Abstract
In 2005, a new World Health Organization–European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer (WHO-EORTC) classification of cutaneous lymphomas was proposed1 and was widely accepted2,3 as an important consensual advance for the characterization and management of cutaneous lymphomas. In this classification, primary cutaneous B-cell lymphomas (PCBCLs) were divided into the following 3 main groups: primary cutaneous marginal zone B-cell lymphoma, primary cutaneous follicle center cell lymphoma, and primary cutaneous diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, leg type (PCLBCL LT). Whereas the first 2 groups had been identified long before and studied in numerous large reports,4-10 the third group was newly defined and had not yet been characterized by large multicenter studies. Keywords
