Abstract
Study of the bleeding tendency in uremia in 26 subjects, 10 of whom were bleeding, showed platelet counts and plasma coagulation factors to be normal. There was a significant inverse correlation between the level of serum urea nitrogen and creatinine, and the adhesiveness of the platelets. Platelet adhesiveness was significantly lower in bleeding subjects than in those without bleeding. Keywords
