Abstract
Three syphilitic rabbits were given Na penicillin. One was given 3,300 units in aq. soln. 3 times daily for 8 days. The popliteal lymph nodes were removed 100-115 days after the testicles became normal and were transferred into the testicles of a healthy rabbit which was then observed for 3 mos. for testicular infection. The popliteal lymph node transfer was negative, indicating cure. The 2 other syphilitic rabbits were given twice daily 5,000 units per kg. body wt., of Na penicillin in oil suspension for 8 days. A more rapid cure was obtained. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
