Abstract
Plasma secretin was followed for 24 h in 6 healthy young males having 4 regular meals with water allowed freely and performing their usual activities. Initially after each meal, plasma secretin was suppressed nonsignificantly before it started to rise. The observed delayed postprandial rises in plasma secretin was significant and transient after dinner and significant and prolonged after the evening meal. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
