Change in Surface Properties of Fabrics During Wear

Abstract
We describe a new method of monitoring the surface properties of textile fabrics during abrasion and give results of tests performed on 20 different samples. Further, we correlate the abrasion resistance with the surface properties, areal density, and thickness of the fabrics.Keywords
