Coulomb correlation in chromium compounds

Abstract
It is shown that the main features of chromium silicide photoemission spectra, unexplained by single-particle theory, can be understood quantitatively by the inclusion of Coulomb correlation effects. Our results provide the first direct evidence of the importance of correlation in metallic Cr compounds.Keywords
