Abstract
We have studied transitions between quasiperiodic spin-wave states in single-crystal yttrium-iron-garnet spheres. We found that in some parameter regimes, these transitions take place via a chaotic transient, while in other regimes a different type of transition occurs. We note other significant differences in the transitions in different regimes and compare the chaotic transients to those observed in previous work. Keywords
