Abstract
The changes in fatty acid composition during fat transport from adipose tissue to plasma FFA, liver TG, and plasma TG were investigated in human beings after starvation for 1 to 7 weeks. The differences found were smaller than those reported earlier after a short period of fasting. The special features of myristic, stearic, and linoleic acid are discussed. Keywords
