Abstract
It is demonstrated that, in general, the Schwinger terms in the vacuum expectation values of equal-time stress-tensor commutators with odd number of time indices must consist of fifth derivatives in addition to the third derivatives of the three-dimensional-space function. Relevance of these considerations to the stress-tensor of the Sugawara theory is indicated.
