Abstract
SUMMARY Development of Anthostoma gastrinum (Fr.) Sacc. was traced from ascogonium to mature perithecium through study of sectioned material from field collections. A. gastrinum possesses centrum development of the Xylaria type and seems to be a valid member of the Xylariaceae. Keywords
