Abstract
Ongoing research topics in CdS/CdTe photovoltaic(PV) device technology include development of a backcontact demonstrating low resistance and stability, whileusing processes consistent with large-areamanufacturing. In efforts toward this goal, we havedeveloped a sequence of dry, high-temperatureprocesses to provide this contact. The processeliminates the need for chemical etching, and is performedat ~300C to aid in contact stability and adhesion.Applying this contact process to...Keywords
