Abstract
The satellites appearing in the core region of the x-ray photoelectron spectra of alkaline-earth difluorides have been investigated in order to obtain information about the density-of-states distribution through interband transitions. The photoemission results are compared with recent theoretical band-structure models. There are differences in the relative intensities of the satellites appearing in different core regions. Keywords
