Abstract
2-(1-Hydroxyalkyl)acrylonitriles are conveniently prepared in excellent yields by the reaction of acrylonitrile with a variety of aldehydes catalysed by 1,4-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane(DABCO).Keywords
