Abstract
Central nervous system dysfunction is an important factor to consider in inmate management. Unfortunately, this issue frequently is neglected in correctional settings. This article discusses several management and rehabilitation issues for inmates with brain impairment. The authors propose a general neuropsychological screening approach for the correctional psychologist that will provide data to facilitate numerous inmate disposition decisions. Moreover, this screening approach is time and cost efficient, relatively easy to administer and score, and likely to be sensitive to a variety of brain pathologies. Keywords
