Abstract
Graffiti in the past have been randomly collected without consideration for the geographic area or the buildings. The purpose of this study was to determine whether a specific graffito is unique to a specific type of building and the population utilizing that specific building. Significant differences were obtained among the graffiti found in the Art, Law, and Computer Sciences buildings individually and collectively as compared with the general use buildings. Significant sex differences were obtained; however, no significant differences were found in comparisons of either specific or general use buildings for profanity or sports comments. Other studies would make possible inferences regarding a population from graffiti found. Keywords
