Abstract
Measurements of the total cross sections for ionization of the rare gases argon, krypton and xenon under electron impact over the electron energy range up to 100 ev have been made with a Lozier apparatus. Measurements in argon show close agreement with those of Tate and Smith except in the low energy region, i.e. below about 2.5 ev.Keywords
