Abstract
Large free standing plastic flash chamber modules with 10 alternating X, Y planes have been constructed using extruded polypropylene sheets. The flash chamber cell readout is accomplished via capacitive coupling using an etched pickup strip on a printed circuit board. The resulting signal is latched into a digital shift register, and is read out via CAMAC through a micro-computer. Data required for the design and operation of this digital flash chamber system has been collected. Keywords
