Abstract
Measurements of for , central to the solar problem, disagree. In a direct capture model, the normalization constants and of the and bound state wave functions of at large separations determine . and are given by (simpler) measurements of at a higher energy , or, as here, by analytic continuation of the and phase shifts, . The method has been successfully tested on calculations of Tang et al. Better measurements of are called for.
